Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer will lead key projects to help our business grow. Projects include new production line installations, automation, capacity expansions, safety & quality improvements.

Responsibilities:

Design mechanical systems for new, or modify existing, automated machinery to automate manufacturing processes
Conduct tests and studies to support efforts to qualify new equipment/processes and verify functionality of existing equipment/processes
Build, buy and install equipment and tools for production as needed
Resolve issues with production related defects
Provide design/application support to the engineering group during the NPI process
Train and evaluate production personnel on processes, tools, and equipment.
Participate in safety efforts

Education and Experience

BS in ME, EE, Automation, or Related Field or equivalent experience
Must be able to read and understand blueprints, work orders and electrical schematics
Mechanically inclined, strong problem solving skills, hands-on individual
Must be able to apply lean principles to increase efficiency and minimize WIP
Proficient with MS Office and a working knowledge of SolidWorks
Must be authorized to work in the United States
